Fake Turkish Primo

Here is a pic of a counterfeit version of Schering‘s (now Bayer‘s) Primobolan Depot from Turkey. Due to the demand and price of Primo being so high, it has always been a target for counterfeiters. These fake amps are shaped wrong, the printing tone is incorrect and the colored stripes are off too. But the easiest way to tell this fake apart from real Primo’s is the fact that the lot no. and manufacturing date do not correspond with each other. This Primo‘s lot number is 41501A indicates that it was produced in 2004, not 2007 as was printed on the label.

Bench like one of the big boys

Strength coach Marty Gallagher, author of The Primitive Purposeful serves up some extra big bench tips.

WARNING: This info is only for those who wish to build a massive chest.

It’s important to keep in mind that Gallagher is a power lifter looking to build strength. The goals of a bodybuilder may differ and would therefore have different rules.

1 First, buy into the physiological reality that an increase in strength equals an increase in muscle size. To grow the pectoral muscle, the best exercise period is flat benching.

2 Three grips to use: Competition or power grip — whatever grip that you feel most powerful- most likely the 24-28 inch range; wider grips, say 32 inches, followed by narrow grips.

Build your power, most powerful benching position in order to improve upon that in addition you need to do some sets of wide grips that build start power and a couple sets of narrow grips which build finish power.
“ I’ve never seen a man with a 500-pound bench that didn’t have big pecs.

— Marty Gallagher

* Warm-up 10-12 reps
* Warm-up 8-10 reps
* Warm-up 5-6 reps
* Warm-up 3 reps
* Warm-up 2 reps
Set 1 3-5 reps (competition grip)
Set 2 3-5 reps (competition grip)
Set 3 3-5 reps (competition grip)
Set 4 5 (wide-grip paused reps)
Set 5 5 reps (wide-grip paused reps)
Set 6 5 reps (narrow grip)
Set 7 5 reps (narrow grip)

Everyone likes to tough-and-go, bounce, rebound momentum. Eliminate that by pausing the weight on the chest. That results in more muscular growth and more strength.

If you’re top set is 155 for 5, hell that will cut the time down considerably. You can use the same tactic, using 95 for 12, 115 for 8 and then do 135 for 5 back off and do 2 sets of wide grips at 95 for 5 pause reps then 75 for 2 sets of 5 narrow grip, paused.

Fake Pakistan Sustanon

I got an email today from a reader asking whether his Pakistani Sustanon were real. Unfortunetly, when describing the amps, he told me that the word propionate was misspelled and there was an ‘I’ instead of an ‘i’! These fakes have been around for a while and its a shame there are sources out there selling them as good gear (for 10$ a pop!) or slipping in some amps with legit ones and hoping no one will notice. No legitimate pharmaceutical company is going to release a lot of amps that have spelling mistakes in them. There might be some testosterone in the amps, but they are definetly fake so beware!

Health Benefits of Cod Liver Oil

By Shanna Ohmes

Cod liver oil, the very name may bring horrid memories of your own childhood. Or you may remember pictures of young children holding their noses while being fed by the spoonful. Well, your mother and grandmother knew what they were doing. There really are health benefits to that spoonful of fishy oil. For example:

• It is an excellent source of vitamin A. This vitamin is essential in the mother’s diet before and after conceiving for the proper development of the baby’s eyes. Vitamin A helps children resist infectious diseases and can help prevent cancer in adults.

• It has vitamin D. Today most people are deficient in vitamin D. Even during summer people in northern climates and those that work indoors are at risk of a deficiency. Vitamin D is essential to assimilate calcium and phosphorus and helps make strong bones and teeth. Current research indicates it is needed to build the immune system against colds and flu.

• Cod liver oil has DHA. This fatty acid feeds the nervous system and the brain, aiding in their development in babies. If the mother has adequate DHA in her diet, it prevents vision problems and learning disabilities in babies. It is the DHA in fish that is the “brain food” for young and old alike. DHA is very heart friendly by lowering blood pressure and preventing heart disease.

Eating natural whole foods is the best way to get vitamins and minerals your body needs. Cod liver oil has been recognized as a natural food in traditional diets. Today you can find quality cod liver oil with flavors added to help with the strong taste or you can buy it in capsule form.

Bodybuilding is more than just muscles.

by MusclesProd

Many people think that going to the gym is all about muscles, however this is not true and in this article we will analyse why and what are other bodybuilding benefits.

Many people thinks that going to the gym is all about muscles, however this is not true and in this article we will analyse why and what are other bodybuilding benefits.

1.Health. This is the most important reason for working out in the gym, like someone said “Health is Wealth” I would complete it this way “Everything without health is nothing but health without anything is something”. When God created Adam he put him in a beautiful garden where he could work physically and that was good for him, so why are we thinking now that sitting all day in front of PC and then driving home will not affect the way we look and our health? Working out is the cheapest way to keep your health and save money which you would spend on different medication and doctors.

2.Discipline. Going to the gym regularly and establishing different goals is what builds discipline. The developed sense of discipline will help you in business, in personal life and in any other sphere of your life. Discipline is one of the first steps to success. Now you know that it does not matter what are the circumstances you just must do it.

3.Good-looking. Everyone wants to look good and we like when others stare at us, other say compliments other ask if we train and third ask where do we train, also there are people who asks for advice. All these things are good for us and build our self-esteem and self-confidence and this opens new doors for us.

4.Self-confidence. How many people are there who are gifted with different talents and do not use them because they think they can’t do it or they are not good enough? You know such people? I do. Self-confidence is very important and working out in the gym is a good way to boost it, so what are you waiting for?

Mike Mentzer’s Heavy Duty Training Advanced Secrets

By Paul Becker, copyright © 2008 Paul Becker – While many people know the basics of Heavy Duty training, the advanced techniques are known by only a few. The advanced and super advanced techniques were fully researched and tested by Mike in the late 70’s, but following the infamous 1980 Mr.Olympia, Mike retired from competition. After that he worked as a personal trainer and concentrated on what works best for beginners and intermediates. And so Heavy Duty for advanced and super advanced trainees became all but lost, even though Mike made the best gains of his life using these techniques.

Climbing The Ladder Of Intensity

Mike knew that as a bodybuilder grew bigger and stronger, he would eventually require an even more intense training stress if he hopes to continue progressing. If the stress is not more intense he will stagnate and stay at the same level of size and strength.

For beginners starting a weight training program is a huge leap in intensity from not training, and this is why they make such rapid gains at first. To keep progressing they can simply keep increasing the weights and decreasing the rest periods between sets. When they stop making gains this way they are ready for the next level of intensity.

At this stage a more intense stress is required, this is be done by using Pre-Exhaustion sets, for example a set of Leg Extensions to failure followed by a set of Leg Press (or Squats) to failure. Also forced reps and negatives to go beyond the point of positive failure can be occasionally used. These techniques will carry someone into the advanced level, Mike reached this point and using these techniques he was unable to get bigger or stronger, this forced him to do further research into the highest levels of intensity.

At this level Mike found that he was so strong and his willingness to work at maximum effort was so high that each rep of a set was so intense that oxygen debt and lactic acid build up was practically immediate and severe enough that he was forced to stop due to cardiovascular limitation rather then because he reached a point of actual muscular failure. He looked for a way that he could do even more intense reps while at the same time slowing the build up of lactic acid and the onset of oxygen debt in his muscles.

The way he did this was to do his own version of Rest Pause training, he used a weight that would allow him to do one all out maximum rep, then rested for 10 seconds, this would give enough time for his muscle to clear out waste products and bring new fuel and oxygen so he could do another all out rep. After the second rep and another 10 seconds rest he would have his training partner help him do another all out rep, or he would reduce the weight by 20%. He would then rest 15 seconds and do his last all out rep. This was considered one set, with each and every rep of the set being an all out effort. An example rest pause workout that Mike would do for his chest was Pec Deck 1 set of 4 Rest Pause reps, Incline Bench Press 1 set of 4 Rest Pause reps and Dips (Negative only style) 1 set of 5 reps. Mike then had to ask himself what could be more intense then Rest Pause training?

Super Advanced Heavy Duty

Mikes next step up the ladder of intensity was what he called Infitonic training; he followed each maximum positive rep of a Rest Pause set with a maximum negative Rep. He had his training partner push down a little on the negative and he would fight to resist it, lowering it as slowly as possible. He then rested 15 seconds before his next maximum positive and negative rep.

The very highest level of Heavy Duty he called Omni-Contraction training, meaning all contraction. There are three ways a muscle can contract, that is lifting a weight (positive), lowering a weight (negative) and holding a weight (static).

In Omni-Contraction training Mike would make each a maximum effort. He would do his one all out maximum positive rep, followed by a maximum negative, but during the negative he would stop the weight and actually try to raise the weight again (which was impossible). He would do these static holds at three different points during the negative rep, the first was at the top, close to the fully contracted position, the second was halfway down and the third was close to the bottom position. Each position was held for a count of 3.

The Results

Mike and his brother Ray used these advanced and super advanced techniques in the summer of 1979 and it resulted in Mike gaining 14 pounds of pure muscle in 9 weeks (while losing fat and at an already advanced level of mass and strength), and winning his first pro show beating the likes of Robby Robinson, Danny Padilla and Roy Callendar. While Ray was able to improve so much he walked in and took the Mr. America crown that year.

So maybe, just maybe, if you have tried Heavy Duty and it stopped working it was because you didn’t know the higher techniques on your way up the ladder of intensity. Try them for yourself and find out.

Fake Testoviron Depot

Today we have a picture of a bad fake of Testoviron Depot by Schering from Turkey. This fake really shouldn’t fool anyone who does a bit of research, but this stuff is available again and many newbies could fall for it. Not only, as with most fakes, is it either completely useless or severely underdosed, but there have been reports of abcesses bringing the sterility of this ‘enanthate’ into question. If you are offered this stuff, run the other way!
