I wouldn't worry too much about the blood-thinning effects of fish oil as others have already said. I get around 30 grams of fish oil daily from fish, not supplements, and didn't notice any increase in bleeding (indicative of thinning blood) when I accidentally cut my leg the other day.

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

But is it sedating that you become non-confortational at all? If so that isn't a good thing. What are the extract amounts you all are taking?

How many milligrams of DHA and EPA are you guys taking specifically. I raised my dose up to 960 mg DHA and 1440 mg EPA. What are you at?

Ashwagandha? Maybe a little bit. The level of GABA activity it creates is perfect. Not too much, not too little.

I agree that fish oil by itself in high doses is unlikely to cause excessive bleeding as a result of blood thinning. However, when high dose fish oil is combined with other blood thinning agents there is a greater possibility of negative interactions. The factor in fish oil that really matters is not how many grams of fish oil one is consuming but how much of it is standardized to EPA and DHA, as the former is the primary inhibitor of prostaglandins and blood clotting factor. This is especially difficult to estimate when consuming fish as a food rather than a supplement, because different species of fish have different amounts of omega-3 fatty acids.

"The fateful question for the human species seems to me to be whether and to what extent their cultural development will succeed in mastering the disturbance of thier communal life by the human instinct of aggression and self-destruction. It may be that in this respect precisely the present time deserves a special interest. Men have gained control over the forces of nature to such an extent that with their help they would have no difficulty in exterminating one another to the last man." - Sigmund Freud, Civilization and Its Discontents
